7 Entertaining Games To Play At A Restaurant
Are you tired of the same old dining routine? Want to spice up your next restaurant visit? Look no further! Here are 7 really fun games at play at any restaurant.
Sly I Spy
A devious twist to the classic game of iSpy where instead of looking for banal objects, you pick a person in the restaurant, think of some really weird quirk to describe them, tell your partner your abstract description of them (i.e. unicorn enthusiast) and then your partner has to guess who they think you are referring to.
Musical Chairs
Another clever spin on a timeless classic. It’s simple. Anytime your waiter comes to your table, then leaves, you have to both immediately get up and switch seats. The more attentive the waiter, the more you get to move around. You can even start eating each other’s meals as a funny twist.
Heist
Just like Ocean’s 11, you are going to steal something valuable from the reason, but only hypothetically. You and your partner are going to brainstorm how you would go about stealing some big fancy decoration (i.e. a statue) and get it out of the restaurant without getting caught. Think of escape routes, distractions and who would handle what role in the heist.
Made To Order
Entertain your waiter with this funny mad libs inspired game. Before you place your order, you and your partner are going to give each other 3 weird words that you HAVE to include when placing your order with the waiter. “I’d like my steak prepared medium parachute, please!” If the waiter begs your pardon, you lose.
Eavesdropping
Listen closely. A restaurant is filled with people sharing their stories and all you and your partner have to do is listen closely. Once you’ve heard a decent chunk of another table’s story, the game you and your partner have to play is to quickly guess what happens next in the story. Whichever one of your guesses is closest, wins!
Reality TV
As an reverse version of eavesdropping, you and your partner are going to pick out a table far away from you to watch. As you watch the people at that table, you are going to start to do a voiceover for them and play out their situation with silly storytelling. First player to break character loses!
Pun In The Sun
Ah puns, the greatest form of comedy. This is a simple game where you and your partner make restaurant themed puns until one of you tap out.
Hope y’all had fun. Cheers!
